Polygon Company is pleased to announce the hiring of Harold Geates. His senior engineering expertise in fluid power will further strengthen Polygon's ability to deliver quality composite cylinders to this burgeoning market.
Harold's product and design engineering experience started decades ago, designing hydraulic systems for Bobcat construction equipment, auto leveling suspensions for large agriculture products, and components for commercial and military trucks. He has worked for Robert Bosch, Whirlpool, Power-Packer (an Actuant Company) as well as smaller contract engineering services over the years.
Responsibilities at Polygon include engineering and research and development of composite cylinder products. Polygon's customer-centric focus combined with Harold's technical knowledge and strong problem-solving skills will provide innovative composite cylinder solutions.
Harold was born and raised in Saskatchewan, Canada, but has lived in the USA for the last 16 years. He currently resides in Berrien Springs, Michigan with his wife and children. The family is actively involved in local schools, where Harold and his wife volunteer in the classroom and as chaperones for choir, band and science competitions. In his free time, Harold enjoys spending socializing with friends, camping with family and working on home improvement projects.
